Frequently Asked Questions

Most of Kingston’s visitor attractions operate seasonally from May to October. K-Pass is available from Mother’s Day weekend to Thanksgiving each year. In 2026, the pass operates between May 9 – October 12.

Passes are valid for a full 24/48/72 hours after activation. For example: a 24h pass started at 1pm on a Friday is valid until 1pm on Saturday.

Yes. The following attractions require advanced reservations to guarantee your spot:

Reservations are also recommended for:

After purchasing K-Pass, contact our team by phone (1-800-848-0011) or Live Chat to add these tours to your reservation. Please have your 6-digit K-Pass confirmation number ready.

Your physical K-Pass will be available for pickup from our ticket counter inside ‘Waterfront Gifts & Apparel’ located at 248 Ontario St. Kingston, ON.

Yes. There are several public parking lots/garages and street parking options within walking distance to our ticketing office and stop #1 on the Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley route.

 

The most convenient parking is at:

  • Hanson Parking Garage (105 Brock St.)
  • Chown Parking Garage (175 Brock St.)

Parking is $2/hr for up to 24 hours.

The Residents’ K-Pass is exclusively for residents of Kingston, Frontenac County, Loyalist and the Frontenac Islands. Government issued photo ID with address (or alternatively photo ID with two pieces of mail showing your name and address) are required to purchase a Residents’ K-Pass.
